Copper Island Academy is excited to announce its partnership with Finnish education expert, author, and videographer Mr. Tim Walker.
Mr. Walker is an American educator who was fortunate to spend multiple years teaching in Finland. He experienced firsthand the many practices that propelled Finland to international acclaim as a global education leader. Mr. Walker’s book Teach Like Finland captures essential aspects of the Finnish model of education and served as a blueprint for Copper Island Academy’s adoption of key Finnish education practices.
In partnership with Copper Island Academy, Mr. Walker will provide ongoing professional learning as well as model development and implementation support for school administration and staff. Mr. Walker will also support Copper Island Academy’s marketing and communication strategies.
