Copper Island Academy is thrilled to see our 5th and 6th grade band program thriving for a second year! What began last year with the help of a Michigan Arts & Culture Council grant has now become a joyful part of school life, with students learning new instruments, playing together, and discovering the fun of making music as a team.
The grant provided the resources needed to launch the program, covering start-up personnel, equipment, and supplies. Thanks to that support, our students are continuing to grow as musicians this year—filling our halls with energy, creativity, and plenty of school spirit.
We are deeply grateful to the Michigan Arts & Culture Council for helping us give students this lasting opportunity to experience the arts in such a meaningful way.
